Official Statement
Last updated July 2024
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between Well-Launched Productions LLC d/b/a Book-Well (“Book-Well,” “we,” or “us”) and the organization or individual who creates an account (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). Book-Well provides a flexible CRM and storefront builder that allows service providers to host public sites, manage bookings, message clients, and connect third-party tools like Google Calendar, Stripe, Square, and Twilio-powered SMS.
By accessing or using Book-Well, inviting staff, or offering services through our public site templates, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using Book-Well on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity. Do not use Book-Well if you disagree with these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and capable of entering a binding contract to use Book-Well. You are responsible for:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken by staff or clients.
Book-Well grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for your internal business operations. You agree not to:
We may monitor, log, and remove content that violates these Terms. Failure to comply can result in suspension or termination of your account.
Book-Well provides the software used to configure sites, service cards, and booking flows. You control the descriptions, pricing, intake forms, and follow-up workflows that you publish. You are solely responsible for:
Book-Well is not a marketplace or employer of your staff; you maintain the client relationship at all times.
Book-Well enables organizations to accept payments through third-party processors such as Stripe and Square. Those processors set their own fees and terms, which govern each transaction. Book-Well does not store full card numbers and relies on the tokens returned by your chosen processor to display payment statuses, deposits, and payouts inside your dashboard.
You authorize Book-Well to pass the minimum required data (for example, service names, totals, and client contact information) to the processor in order to create checkout sessions or recurring invoices. You agree to pay any subscription fees for Book-Well itself and any chargebacks, penalties, or fines that arise from your use of the platform.
Book-Well subscriptions are billed in advance for the month or billing period you select. Fees are non-refundable once charged, but there is no minimum contract term—you may downgrade or cancel at any time, and your access will remain active through the end of the current paid period.
Organizations that send SMS reminders or follow-ups may purchase text-message credits through Book-Well. These credits are consumed as Twilio delivers your messages and are non-refundable, even if you stop sending texts or close your account, because the underlying carrier costs are incurred at purchase.
Book-Well includes integrations with services such as Google Calendar, Square, Stripe, and Twilio. By enabling an integration you:
Book-Well may display warnings, pause syncing, or notify workspace owners if credentials expire or if we detect abuse.
When you authorize Book-Well to connect to Google Calendar we request the openid, email, profile, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar, and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scopes. This allows Book-Well to list your calendars, read event details needed to detect conflicts, and create, update, or delete events related to bookings.
By enabling the integration you confirm that you have consent from any clients whose information will appear in those events; you understand that Book-Well only uses Google data to keep bookings in sync and never transfers that information to advertisers; and you acknowledge that our use and transfer to any other app of data received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You may disconnect the integration at any time and should do so immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Book-Well can send transactional messages (for example, confirmations, receipts, reminders, or reconnect alerts) via email, push notification, or SMS powered by Twilio. You are responsible for obtaining any legally required consent before sending marketing messages or automated reminders to your clients. We may send you service-related announcements or policy updates; such notices are part of the platform and cannot be opted out of while you maintain an account.
You retain all rights to the content, client information, and branding you upload to Book-Well. You grant Book-Well a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to provide and support the services you request. We may compile aggregated, anonymized insights (for example, product usage trends) as long as they do not identify you or your clients.
You may close your account at any time by contacting Book-Well support. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, engage in fraud or abuse, or create security risks for the platform or other users. Upon termination we will make commercially reasonable efforts to let you export your data, but we may retain limited information as required by law, for dispute resolution, or to enforce these Terms.
Book-Well is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, nor are we responsible for delays or outages caused by third-party providers such as Google, Stripe, Square, or Twilio.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Book-Well’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to Book-Well for the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the platform or legal requirements. When we make material updates we will post the revised Terms and, if appropriate, notify you through the dashboard or by email. Your continued use of Book-Well after the new Terms become effective constitutes acceptance.
